This momma-to-be was truly a natural in front of the camera for her maternity portraits, and her husband was a great sport too!  I don’t always get dads who are willing to be in front of the camera for intimate shots like this, but when asked, mom volunteered him no problem!  Haha.  I’m very glad she did though because whether he was involved in a particular photo or not, he was a great hype man from the sidelines and happily went along with any of mine or moms ideas like a champ.

Meeting for your session is often the first time we are seeing each other face to face, unless you opt for a consultation or session tour.  This can feel a little awkward at first, but you booked with me for a reason, and my sense of humour usually gets the ball rolling pretty quickly.  I love getting to joke around with my clients, bringing out their natural smiles for the portraits, and goofing around in between sets.  I would normally consider myself to be an introvert but socializing with my clients is seriously one of my favourite parts of the job.  My clients seem to bring out the best in me – or at least I think so!
