Another beautiful maternity session, but outdoors for a change!  Lannae didn’t have the desire to play ‘dress up’ in my client closet for her session, partly because the weather was unpredictable and could have been cold.  But I think she rocked it in this pretty black number she arrived in, and the scarf was a beautiful addition. 

I love when people tell me that they’re ‘awkward’ in front of the camera because as much as they believe it, it’s not usually what I find to be true.  ‘Awkward’ just usually tells me that they have a good sense of humour and like to be silly.  Any time any of the three of us cracked a joke, we all would share a laugh and the natural smiles that would emerge from them were picture-perfect.  Makes it easy when I can crack short jokes at myself to make people laugh, too.

This soon-to-be family of three booked multiple sessions with me and I could tell early on that we would have fun.  I’ve loved getting to know this family and meeting their baby girl (blog to come). They trusted my style and ability to capture their family in a beautiful and natural way, and I hope I did that justice.
