When I say my sessions are baby-led, what I mean is that if the baby spends most of the session awake, we roll with that and I try not to force sleep on them! Some babies just don’t sleep as much as others, and that’s okay because what I’m all about is capturing babies as they are in this stage of their life – awake or asleep. That said, I will admit that I feel incredibly spoiled when I get super sleepy babies and I get to work through my workflow.

Enver was one of those sleepy babies that let me get through some of my favourite beanbag poses that some babies aren’t a fan of. It made my heart so glad, and it was nice to use my ‘baby whispering’ techniques on a baby that was truly content to be posed.
