Kinsley was a very expressive baby, giving smiles and rolling her eyes throughout most of her session!  I still have to chuckle when I look back at those deep eye rolls.  She slept amazingly though, and I was able to get through most of my standard newborn poses, including trying something new.

My standard newborn workflow is froggy, timber, side-laying, tushie up, forward-facing, bucket, huck finn, and various props or styles of wraps.  These words may mean nothing to most people, but any newborn photographers will know!  All newborn sessions also include family poses because it wouldn’t be the same without capturing baby’s first family photo.

Although my specialty is neutrals, if there is a colour that is meaningful to you or that would go with your baby’s nursery, we can add a splash here or there.  I love when my clients allow me to run the session, so I try to have an assistant at every session, so parents can sit back and relax.  Sometimes parents even take turns napping while the room is quiet, and I have to say that is extremely flattering!
